LEAD BELAY CLASS

We get it: you've been watching people climb in the lead cave for too long, and you're thinking "it's finally my turn!"

Take the next step in your climbing journey and sign up for Odyssey's Lead Belay Class. This 3 hours class is an advanced class designed to help you push your boundaries and build the technical skills you need to lead climb in the climbing gym. Learn lead belay techniques, how to clip and be on your way to lead climbing throughout the gym.

After your class, practice as much "mock-leading" as needed and come find our Front Desk staff to test out for your lead tags. Lead Belay Tests cannot be done same day as your Lead Belay Class.

Must have strong climbing experience. We recommend having been climbing consistently for the last 6 months, though not required.
